I got an inquiry from them as to if I want to speak, and I'll be following up on that because I think it could be fun.

Ring Con Coming to the UK

Ring Con's organisers have teamed up with Showmasters to bring the event to the UK. Only the dates have been confirmed so far 13 to 15th April 2007, no venue or guests as yet.

Hi all,

I got back from this year's Utopia and boy, it was superfun! I competed in the Ruler of the Universe Election as a Galadhrim Elf posessed by the Goa'uld known as Hathor. I combined these characters because the election rules dictated using a known character but I also wanted to wear my Helms Deep armor.

I remember when this side board was added and how quickly it was filled up. Even though we suffered a crewl loss it does not hinder the memories and conversations shared at these events or by what was here. It truely hurts to see this area so bare but it can be redone and rebuilt. Even Minas Tirth was rebuilt better and stronger after the war of the One Ring! So shall our board be rebuilt in tribute of formor glory and fellowship and forward into those we have not met yet. It is time for all...

check out the great - and incredibly HISTERICAL costumes!!

Funniest goes to, Imperial Janitor - he actually put a white bucket on his head and painted the eyes and mouth pieces of a storm trooper on it. - yellow gloves and boots and a white jumpsuit finish it off...

Well I got back from seeing Ringers Lord of the Fans last night and there was a pretty lengthy segment on The Lord of the Peeps on there. Can I tell you that the entire theatre cheered their behinds off for it.

Billy Boyd was there, and John Noble was supposed to be there , (though I did not see him) watching it, so your celebrity audience has expanded Gen.

Was that you in the Capt. Jack outfit that they interviewed? I admit I could not tell, but assumed it was....

Hey guys just thought I'd tell you that the Helms Deep elves of CollectorMania have been givin the full confirmation to march in Craig Parker. There shall be lots and lots of pics coming your way if you wanna see them.

Anyway should have my armor finished by atleast the 23rd I'm hoping and it means after that I can spend the next 7days doing my Eowyn, Arwen and Galadhrim costumes

Ok, we have talked about Dragon Con and the Fellowship Festival , but is there anyone here besides me on the West Coast of the US of A going to Comic Con? I am entering the Masquerade with a couple of other people out here and will be wearing my armor. I will probably wear my green arrow costume Saturday - alla Mike Grell (since you cannot wear your masquerade costume) and then my armor on Sunday.
